Julia and Dylan first locked eyes on move-in day at Kenyon College in 2011 - Dylan was accused in front of the whole matriculating class of having legally changed his name to Tuba and Julia was...intrigued.
They lived on the same Freshman hall and waited outside each other's doors to walk together to English class every morning. Finally in the spring, Tuba got up the courage to ask Julia out on a date to take the shuttle to the nearby town and see The Rock in his defining role in Journey 2: Mysterious Island, which they walked out of and across a field to Bob Evans.
They never looked back - from a summer in Seattle, many summers apart, semesters together and semesters abroad, driving across the country, living in LA, San Diego, Virginia. After surviving all four years of college and life on opposite coasts and time zones (including a harrowing summer where due to the time difference and Tuba's exhausting summer job of being a camp counselor, they never really talked) they finally settled down together in NYC. They now live in Brooklyn with their pup Milo and can't wait to get married and celebrate over a decade of love with all their favorite people.
